Terms of service
These terms govern use of the Unified E box platform operated by UniEbox LLC. By using the service you agree to them.
Last updated September 21, 2026
1. The service
Unified E box is an email-management workspace that lets an authorized member connect their own Gmail account and then read, search, organize, compose, and send mail from that account through a single interface. It is provided for use by members of UniEbox LLC and is not offered for general public sign-up.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be authorized by UniEbox LLC to use the service.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly at security@uniebox.vercel.app if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Connecting a Gmail account
- You may connect only a Gmail account you own or are explicitly authorized to use. Connecting someone else’s mailbox without their permission is a breach of these terms.
- Connection happens through Google’s consent flow. You decide what to grant, and you may withdraw it at any time from the application or from your Google Account permissions page.
- We access your mailbox only through the scopes you approved, and only to provide the features described on the Gmail integration page.
- Your use of Gmail remains subject to Google’s own terms. Nothing here changes your relationship with Google.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the service lawfully and in line with our acceptable use policy, which forms part of these terms. In particular, do not use the service to send spam or unsolicited bulk mail, to impersonate anyone, to distribute malware, or to attempt to access another member’s data.
5. Your content
Your mail is yours. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service for you: to retrieve, store, display, index for search, and transmit your mail as the features require. That permission ends when you disconnect or when the data is deleted.
6. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Availability
We aim for the service to be available and reliable, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime commitment. The service depends on third parties, including Google’s APIs, and may be interrupted by their outages, by maintenance, or by rate limits outside our control. Current status is published on the status page.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these terms or the acceptable use policy are breached, if required by law, or if continued access poses a security risk. You may stop using the service at any time by disconnecting your mailboxes, and you may ask us to delete your stored data through the data deletion process.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that synchronization with Gmail will always be immediate.
Unified E box is not a backup or archiving service. Keep your own records of anything you cannot afford to lose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will give notice through the service or by email before it takes effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
